J’vonne Parker

J’vonne Parker was raised in Newark NJ where he attended Newark Tech and was a 3 year starter and captain on the varsity basketball team. He also played football for Westside High school for his junior and senior years and started both years where he helped turn a losing program around.

His abilities on the football field landed him a full athletic scholarship to Howard university in 2000 he attended Howard for 2 years before transferring to Rutgers university in 2002. He Graduated Rutgers in 2004 with a BA in Criminal Justice.

In 2004 he was signed as a free agent to the Cleveland Browns and played 5 years in the NFL and has also spent time with the Dallas Cowboys, Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, and the Denver Broncos.

In 2009 J’vonne was sidelined by injury and it was then when he realized that he had valuable lessons to teach and wanted to give back to the youth and reassure they would go the right direction in life. He has learned many techniques throughout his NFL career that makes him a valuable asset to the youth that becomes a part of our family. Since his time away from the NFL, he has become a certified Personal Trainer and Sports Nutritionist through the IFA.

He has taken his love for football/sports, children, and his passion for health and has exerted all efforts into Pro E.D.G.E in which he co-founded in December of 2010. Through his company, he plans on using all his talents and life lessons to better serve his community

Sameeh McDonald
Co-Founder, Owner

Sameeh is a Rutgers University alumnus and holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice & Africana Studies. As part of the first recruiting class of Greg Schiano, he went on to start 38 games on RU’s offensive line playing under OL coaches Mario Cristobal and current head coach Kyle Flood, he was a strong team leader on and off the field. Graduating in 2006, he went on to play professional football serving time in the NFL, NFL Europe, and AFL.

With the disbandment of the AFL in 2009, he chose to take his experience back to his high school Alma mater, West Side High School in Newark, NJ, where he served as the strength and conditioning, offensive line coach, and educator for the Newark Public School system for two years. He know holds similar responsibility at neighboring Weequahic High School, where he looks to accomplish the goal of preparing his players for life and collegiate success. He credits his youth years in Newark as the time period that helped him develop the strong foundation and character that his reputation embodies. Sameeh has a host of expertise and training in the key areas relevant to being a complete athlete.

Having served as a mentor, personal trainer, coach, educator, and community outreach program facilitator, he brings a unique combination of top notch athletic experience and life skills. He holds a personal training and nutritional certification from IFA and has worked with some of the most respected individuals in the business.

As the co-founder and owner of Pro E.D.G.E., Sameeh personally ensures that any member of his team be not only highly qualified, but also passionate about changing lives. All members that enter the Pro E.D.G.E. family will receive the full-scale approach that has helped him during his career and beyond.

Kevin Rupinski
Stretch Therapist, FST

Kevin “KC” Rupinski, is a certified Fascial Stretch Therapist and  graduate of the University of Delaware, where he earned his B.S. in Exercise Science with a concentration in Physiology and minored in Strength and Conditioning. KC played baseball up until college, when injuries prevented him from continuing his career. Due to this setback, KC set off on a career path that would help people never give up what they love to do, especially athletes!

Along with working as a Fascial Stretch Therapist, KC works as a fitness instructor for adults and athletes and is studying to get his “Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist” certification.
